I’m a web developer with a background in finance and operations. I have a strong dislike of doing the boring stuff, so I build to let me have more time for the fun stuff.

I taught myself a little bit of coding to automate repetitive work and found out I really like building tools that solve real problems and give people back their time. I’m especially interested in Free/Libre and Open Source Software and the idea that we can and should make life a little easier.

Two Street Water Ice

A responsive website for a local water-ice business in South Philadelphia. The site is designed to help customers quickly understand the brand, see available flavors and sizes, find the stand, and contact the business. Its main purpose is marketing and customer access: attract attention, communicate what the business sells, and make it easy for people to visit or order. The project demonstrates responsive web design, strong visual branding, navigation, calls to action, and layouts that adapt across desktop, tablet, and mobile.

Level Ground

A website for a nonprofit/community organization that uses mixed martial arts and related programming to support young people. The site explains the organization’s mission, promotes its programs and classes, gives visitors ways to learn more, and encourages support through donations. Its purpose is both informational and action-oriented: tell the organization’s story while directing people toward participation, employment opportunities, or financial support. The project emphasizes large visual elements, clear messaging, responsive layouts, and prominent calls to action.

Japanese Women’s Leadership Initiative (JWLI)

A website for an organization focused on developing women leaders and supporting social change in Japan. The site explains the organization and its programs, introduces fellows and leadership opportunities, shares news, and provides information about applying. Its purpose is primarily educational and organizational: give prospective participants, supporters, and other visitors a structured way to understand JWLI’s mission and opportunities. The project demonstrates navigation across a more information-heavy site, content organization, forms, multi-column layouts, and responsive design.
